Europe Trip- Netherlands | Amsterdam Sight-seeing

15th November 2014

Our tour had come to the 5th day and we had landed to Amsterdam; the capital and center of tourism in Netherlands. To be honest, the most favorite cities that I has traveled to Europe is Netherlands. It has nothing to do with the colorful red lights district, but the nice scenery of windmills, lovely canals, beautiful canal houses and the serenity of the town.

So,I began my blog post with the comfortable stay at Mercure Amsterdam Airport Hotel.  We had the English breakfast.

The tasty pastries and I love the wholemeal bread very much.
Soft and not too dry.

The weather of Amsterdam was cold. We had some photos taken at the external of the hotel. The hotel is situated next to Nieuwe Lake.

After our breakfast, we embarked our journey to Zaanse Schans which is famous of wooden windmills, barns and museums which are built in the typically Dutch wooden architectural style; relocated there piece by piece since year 1961. On the way from Amsterdam to Zaanse Schans,  The scenery along the journey was beautiful. I saw canals, castles, old churches, green farmlands, Dutch farmhouses and sheeps.

Bla Bla white sheep could be seen along the journey.

Although only a few hours spending on the bus ride but I had taken more than 100 photos of the scenery.
